What are the steps in INVENXEN's software development process?
There are five: discovery and analysis, strategic planning, design and development, testing and refinement, and deployment and support. Planning turns the research from discovery into a roadmap with objectives, milestones and KPIs, and support continues after go-live.
What happens during discovery?
INVENXEN researches your business, market and users to find the real opportunity. The findings become the roadmap in the planning step.
What is agile software development?
Agile is a way of building software in small, working increments and adjusting the plan as you learn. The Agile Manifesto (2001) values working software over comprehensive documentation and responding to change over following a plan. In Scrum, a common agile framework, each sprint is a fixed length of one month or less.
What is the software development life cycle (SDLC)?
The SDLC is the sequence of phases a team follows to design and build software. AWS lists six: plan, design, implement, test, deploy and maintain. INVENXEN's five steps cover the same ground, with discovery and planning as the plan phase.
